| FULL CERTIFICATION COURSE |
| Becoming FULLY CERTIFIED takes 4 days. This is the first level of scuba certification. PADI International certification card issued after successful completion of course. Usually your class and pool sessions are completed in the first 1 or 2 days and the 4 check out dives on the last 2 days. The schedule is flexible according to weather. The pool sessions are conducted in our own private pool. This pool is made for diving. 40 feet long, and 10 feet deep at the deep end gives lots of room and depth for training. There is no confined water area in San Pedro that matches what we have here in terms of size, depth, and most important, privacy. |
REFERRAL PROGRAM |
| The second way is to come here with your class work and pool sessions completed. We would then complete your 4 certification check out dives here on the reef over a period of 2 half days and then certify you. This is a very popular way to get Fully certified.certified. The first 2 dives are always done at sites that are located inside the reef such as Hol Chan Marine Reserve or Mexico Rocks to get you started. The second 2 dives are done at a variety of sites on the barrier reef. With us, you are alone on the boat and once certified will feel comfortable and confident to get on any dive boat with certified divers. |
PADI SCUBA DIVER CERTIFICATION |
| PADI offers a SCUBA DIVER certification. This is a 2 1/2 day course that involves 1 pool session and the first half of the academic part of the course and 2 open water check out dive. There is no exam, but this limits you to diving to not more than 40 feet in company of a dive master or above. This is great if you do not have the time for the complete course. You can complete the rest of the full certification course at a later date. . If time is a problem .. consider the e-Learning option |
TAKE A NON DIVER FOR A 'try it' DIVE |
| We can also take a non-diver on a closely supervised dive. This is a 1/2 day program that starts with a short lecture about diving. From there, a pool or in-water session, to learn a few basic skills. Then comes the dive into the Hol Chan Marine Park. LOTS TO SEE. Jolene and I both started our dive careers this way. We were nervous about it at first, but once we experienced the underwater world there was no stopping us. Let us share that with you. We also promise not to rush you in any way so that you can really enjoy the experience. That is the joy we have in being independent instructors. |
